EOSINOPHILIC ESOPHAGITIS IN ADULTS: A CASE SERIES AND LITERATURE REVIW

Eosinophilic esophagitis (EO) is an inflammation of the esophagus due to abnormal immune response exogenous allergens.Currently there increase in diagnostic cases thanks a better current recognition symptoms. The esophago-gastro-duodenal fibroscopy must be carried out make diagnosis, confirmed by esophageal biopsies (more than 15 eosinophils per high magnification field). Our series includes 5 patients whose histological diagnosis confirmed,3 men and 2 women with average age 47,4 .The clinical presentation very variedwhich3 suffer from dysphagia, gastroesophageal reflux syndrome 1 patient has dyspepsia, chest pain. endoscopic aspect not pathognomonic, we repport normal appearance, pseudotracheal mucosa,a cottony appearance esophagus,an impassable stenosis esophagus, ulcerated esophagitis.All our responded well therapeutic protocol received good evolution.
